Earn points by contributing to the site and interacting with other members:
Registrations and Invitations
- 500 Points - First registered log-in to the site (See Below)
- 5 Points - Daily Log-in
- 20 Points - Invite someone to join Powderworks.net
- 50 Points - Invite someone to join Powderworks.net and they register.
- 20 Points - Invite a friend to read an article and they read it.
When you register and log-in to the site for the first time, you will automatically receive 500 points to get you started. After that, each day you log-in to the site you will receive 5 points just for stopping by and logging in.
If you invite someone to register on the site, you will receive 20 points. If they actually complete registration, you will receive 50 more points. Also, in your member profile on the Points tab, there is a referral link that you can place on your website or link to through social networks (Facebook, Twitter, etc.). If someone registers through this link, then you will recieve 50 Points!

- 10 Points - Vote on an Article - Article Voting is at the top left of most articles
- 10 Points - Comment on an Article or Blog Post - Comments are at the bottom of most articles
- 200 Points - Submit a new Article - Request and Approval Required - See Below
- 100 Points - Submit a new Blog Post - Request and Approval Required - See Below
- 20 Points - Post a new Forum topic
- 30 Points - Post a reply to an existing Forum topic
- 20 Points - Submit a web-link
- 20 Points - Submit a joke or joke picture - Approval Required - See Below
Other Activities
- 100 Points - Win the Arcade Contest of the Week
- Transferring points - Member to Member (See Below)
- Transferring points - Casino Account (See Below)
- Redeem Coupon Codes
Points can be transferred to you from another member or from you to another member. Once points are transferred to another member, they can't be revoked.
On occasion, coupon codes will be made available to redeem for Powderworks Points. These coupons will be available for fixed periods and for varying amounts.
As you contribute more to the site and earn points, you can use them:
- For bragging rights
- To exchange for advertising on Powderworks.net (See Below)
- To cash in for Credits in the Casino (See Below)
- To give to other members (See Below)
- To donate to other causes and charities (not yet available - more information to come)
- To get stuff in the Powderworks.net Auction (not yet available -more information to come)
Points can be transferred to you from another member or from you to another member. Once points are transferred to another member, they can't be revoked. You can also transfer points from your Powderworks Points Account to your Casino Account through the Casino Banker. Casino points are transferred on a 1 to 100 exchange ratio - meaning that 1 Powderworks Point = 100 Casino Credits.
